A New Addition to the CKHS Campus

A giant rock was recently delivered to Central Kitsap High School as a special gift from the Class of 2025. This rock will serve as a new tradition and symbol of Cougar pride. Students will have the opportunity to paint the rock, using it as a creative outlet to celebrate milestones, share messages, and leave their mark on the school.

Freshmen Orientation

September 2nd from 9-11:30 am

CK High's Cougar Krew, a student organization focused on supporting incoming freshmen and fostering a welcoming community, invites your student to a special freshman orientation at Central Kitsap High School in the Main Gym.

During the orientation, freshmen will participate in community building activities, connect with Cougar Krew mentors and peers, and tour the campus. Students, please bring a water bottle and wear non-marking shoes if possible to protect the gym floor. We're excited to see you there!

Principal Q and A

September 2nd from 5-6 pm

Do you have questions, comments, or concerns about CKHS and/or school year 25/26? Come by the CKHS commons between 5-6 for an open Q and A with the principal. Bring any questions or just come by to say hi.

Cougar Family Night

Welcome to the 25/26 school year! CKHS is hosting Cougar Family Night on 8/28 from 5-8 pm. Come to the CK campus to take school pictures, apply for parking, walk your schedule, meet some of your teachers, check out clubs and sports, purchase ASB cards, return books and materials from prior years, and help us kick off another great year for Cougar Nation!

The Career Center will be open for schedule and/or PowerSchool questions or changes.

For our returning students and families, this event will replace both Maze Days and our Open House

2025-2026 Parking Pass

Attention Juniors and Seniors wanting to purchase a parking pass for the 2025-2026 school year: you will need to have paid all outstanding fines in order to be eligible to purchase a parking pass.

Parking Pass Request Process:
  1. Obtain a valid driver’s license and appropriate insurance (must be in place before you request a parking pass), and pay all student fees/fines on your student account so that you are eligible for a parking pass.
  2. Complete our form (link will go live on August 28th@ 5PM) you can access the form online or in person at Cougar Family Night Thursday August 28th.
  3. Once your request for parking is approved, you will receive an email notification in your school email that contains our parking contract and will explain how to pay your $20 parking and collect your pass. 
  4. Your pass will entitle you to park only in the CKHS student lot (does not include "staff' or "visitor" parking areas). 

CKHS Facebook Page Update

Follow Central Kitsap High School on Facebook. Principal Chertok will be personally managing the account beginning September 3rd as a way to share information and give you a glimpse into life at CK.

Important reminders from the ASB Bookkeeper

Starting September 2025 a 4.5% convenience fee will be added to all card payments for ASB and building-based transactions. Families will still be able to pay by cash or check without any fees.

To take care of your fines go to the Touchbase payment portal: https://wa-centralkitsap.intouchreceipting.com/signin. The User Name is your Students ID number. The Password is your student's Last Name with the first letter of their last name capitalized (i.e. Smith). If you have overdue books or other items at home that need to be returned to school, please return them as soon as possible.

If you purchased a 2024-2025 yearbook, please come to the ASB Bookkeeper office to pick it up.

Bus Route Information

All general education route information is now available at ckschools.org. Click School Info, click Buses then click Routes and use the Infofinder link to enter your entire street address (NW, Lane, etc.), click here to go directly to the bus route page. This tool will locate your stop and times for your student. General education students do not need to register for the bus. All kindergarten, preschool, McKinney Vento and students with special needs will receive a phone call from the driver with stop location and times by 5:00pm, Friday, August 29th. For additional questions please email us at transportation@ckschools.org

Welcome Back Cougar Family!!

We look forward to meeting you at the PTSA table during Cougar Family Night, Aug 28.

We have items for you to purchase to show off that Cougar school spirit along with our annual PTSA membership. Purchase spirit wear and membership at our online shop or at the PTSA table.

Get fall swinging with our baseball fundraisers with the Seattle Mariners (9/13) & Tacoma Rainiers (9/20).  Purchase tickets at our online shop.
